If your question is about staying at a citizenM hotel, making or changing a reservation, or booking the mycitizenM+ rate on the Marriott website, the Marriott support team is the best place to help you. They also handle everything related to Marriott Bonvoy, such as creating or accessing a Bonvoy account or questions about Bonvoy perks and points.

Marriott has full access to their reservation and loyalty systems, so they’ll be able to give you the quickest and most accurate support.

How can I book reservations at citizenM Hotels?

You can still book citizenM hotel stays on Marriott.com, the Marriott Bonvoy® Mobile App and other Marriott booking channels.

I booked a stay with mycitizenM+ membership before citizenM joined Marriott Bonvoy. Will I still get my mycitizenM+ perks?

Yes, members with linked accounts receive both mycitizenM+ perks and Marriott Bonvoy benefits.

What happens to my existing citizenM reservations after citizenM joins Marriott Bonvoy?

Your reservations remain active, but once the citizenM app goes away, you will not be able to view your booking on citizenM channels. You can add your Marriott Bonvoy Account to a reservation by following these instructions. You can also contact the Marriott Reservations team in your region for help.

Can I book breakfast with a mycitizenM+ member rate on Marriott Bonvoy?

When booking your mycitizenM+ member rate through Marriott Bonvoy, breakfast isn’t included in the citizenM Subscription Program rate. But no need to worry, breakfast is always available!

You can simply add breakfast during check-in at the self-service citizenM kiosk in the hotel. This way, you’ll still enjoy your mycitizenM+ membership discount on the stay, and have the flexibility to decide on breakfast when you arrive.

Where can I manage my mycitizenM+ membership?

You’re already in the right place. Just use the “my account” link in the top-right corner of the navigation to access your mycitizenM+ membership. If you’re already logged in, simply click the welcome message in the same spot to view and manage your details.

I’ve lost my password. What should I do?

mycitizenM+ and Marriott Bonvoy use two different accounts, so the first step is to check which one you’re trying to access.

If you can’t log in to your mycitizenM+ membership, use the “get a new password” option on the login screen. This will send password reset instructions to your email. Still stuck? You can reach us anytime through our contact details.

If the issue is with your Marriott Bonvoy account, you’ll need support directly from Marriott. They can help you recover access via help.marriott.com.

What if I no longer want a mycitizenM+ membership?

You can cancel your membership by logging to your account.  Please note, if you have bookings scheduled beyond your membership end date, they will be cancelled on the membership end date. You will receive a cancellation confirmation email with all details and dates explained.

Will the citizenM app still remain?

No. The citizenM app will be retired on 5 December. To continue viewing your citizenM reservations, you must add your Marriott Bonvoy account number to them by following these instructions. You can also contact the Marriott Reservations team in your region. All reservations will then be displayed on Marriott Bonvoy channels.

How do I link my mycitizenM+ membership with the Marriott Bonvoy account?

Log into your citizenM account and go to your dashboard. Find the option to link your mycitizenM+ account with Marriott Bonvoy. Follow the easy-peasy linking instructions – and voilá! 

Without linking the accounts, you won’t get the discounted membership rates for citizenM stays booked via Marriott.com and the Marriott Bonvoy App. As long as your membership is in good standing, you can keep using the other perks (like free co-working, 15% off food and drink and 15% off meeting rooms).

What Marriott Bonvoy status will mycitizenM+ members be granted?

mycitizenM+ members will receive Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.

What benefits do I receive as a Marriott Bonvoy Member at citizenM?

12. I am already a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member or higher but would like to purchase a mycitizenM+ membership. What benefits will I receive?

You will continue to receive your Marriott Bonvoy benefits per your member status at all participating hotels, plus the following mycitizenM+ benefits at all citizenM hotels:

  • 15% discount on retail rates for all direct bookings

  • up to 30% discount during sales

  • 15% off food & drinks (except breakfast)

  • 15% off meeting rooms

  • free co-working (except in Taipei)

Can I earn Marriott Bonvoy points on citizenM hotel stays?

Yes. All eligible citizenM stays made with a Marriott Bonvoy account earn Marriott Bonvoy points. You can earn Marriott Bonvoy points on citizenM hotel stays by adding your Marriott Bonvoy account number to your reservation. You can do this at check-in. If you are a mycitizenM+ subscriber, follow the account linking instructions to continue receiving your subscription perks as well as your Marriott Bonvoy member benefits.

Can I use past citizenM stays to count toward my Marriott Bonvoy status?

A past citizenM stay can be counted towards Marriott Bonvoy points ONLY IF the stay took place after the citizenM hotel joined the Marriott website (this could be 28 October 2025 or later). Please follow this link to find citizenM hotels and look up your citizenM hotel joining date. If your stay was completed after that date, the points can be credited. To do this, log into your Marriott Bonvoy account and complete the “Report a Missing Stay” form.

How many Marriott Bonvoy Points and Elite Night Credits (ENCs) will I be able to earn at citizenM?

Members earn 10 Marriott Bonvoy Points per $1 USD and 1 Elite Night Credit per Qualifying Night.

Can I redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for free nights at citizenM hotels?

Yes. Points can be redeemed for stays at eligible citizenM hotels.

What actions do I need to take to continue using mycitizenM+ membership once citizenM joins Marriott Bonvoy?

1. Link your mycitizenM+ account with a Marriott Bonvoy account. To do this, log in to your mycitizenM+ account, go to your dashboard, select ‘membership’, and follow the instructions for linking to Marriott Bonvoy. 

2. You can add your Marriott Bonvoy Account to a reservation by following these instructions, or contact the Marriott Reservations team in your region for help.

How do I link my mycitizenM+ membership with the Marriott Bonvoy account?

Log into your citizenM account and go to your dashboard. If your citizenM and Marriott Bonvoy accounts are not linked yet, you will see a banner with two options – to link an existing Marriott Bonvoy account, or create a new one. Follow the easy-peasy linking instructions – and voilá! 

If you do not see the banner, it means you may have linked the accounts already. Check your member details for your Marriott Bonvoy number.
